Push your limits in the Côte d’Azur Mercantour Ultra-Trail 2018
In 2017, the 3rd Côte d’Azur Mercantour Ultra-Trail brought together more than 600 participants.

The 2018 UTCAM offers several courses from 15th to 17th June, with different levels of difficulty to satisfy professionals and amateurs alike:
- The 145km: 50 hours of running through the beautiful landscapes of the Côte d’Azur! From the beaches of Nice to the mountains of Saint-Martin-Vesubie, 10000m uphill gradients and 9000m downhill. The most difficult sections are crossing the Cime de La Valette de Prals (2496m), Mont Archas (2526m), and Mont Pépoiri (2674m). These summits are hard to get to, but offer a fantastic view over the mountains of the Mercantour and the Mediterranean Finishing this exceptional section will give you 6 points towards qualifying for the Mont Blanc Ultra-Trail.
- 90km, 70km, 45km and 25km: designed for those at different levels – from certified runners to beginners.
These different courses will allow you to find the right route for your sporting profile, while you explore the magnificent landscapes of the Nice hinterland, the Côte d’Azur and the Mercantour. These races will take place during the Côte d’Azur Mercantour Ultra-Trail 2018, from 15th to 17th June.
- Trail de la Vésubie – 14km la vésubienne: an event that will take place on 16th June at Saint-Martin-Vésubie as an introduction to the high-mountain course.
On the programme is a 14km race over a course with 800m of positive altitude, and involving 3 hours of effort.
